Summary
In V-RAPTOR firmware 1.2.6 and earlier, when Flip / Mirror Sensor Scan is enabled (Menu > System Settings > Sensor), excessive stuck pixels may be present in the image.
In addition, attempting to calibrate the camera while Flip / Mirror Sensor Scan is enabled will cause the Calibration to fail.
This issue does not occur when using the Monitoring Flip / Mirror function (Menu > Monitoring > SDI1/2 > SDI 1 > Flip/Mirror).
Workaround
Please update to firmware 1.3.4 or later. This will allow for proper sensor calibration when Flip / Mirror Sensor Scan is enabled.
Otherwise, please use the Monitoring Flip / Mirror function when trying to flip the preview image instead of the Flip / Mirror Sensor Scan function.
If you already have footage that has been recorded and exhibits stuck pixels, please use the automated Flashing Pixel Adjustment available in REDCINE-X as well as other software that uses the RED SDK.
