RED offers the HELIUM 8K® S35 Sensor Upgrade for eligible WEAPON® CF 6K BRAINs and DSMC2 BRAINs. The HELIUM 8K S35 increases the shooting potential of your camera BRAIN and enables you to shoot motion and stills in 8K 2.4:1 at up to 75 frames per second (fps), or 8K Full Format at 60 fps.
Owners of the WEAPON Forged CF 6K BRAIN, WEAPON Woven CF 6K BRAIN, DSMC2 GEMINI 5K S35, and DSMC2 DRAGON-X 5K S35 are eligible to upgrade their camera sensor to HELIUM 8K S35. You are eligible for this upgrade if you purchased the camera directly from RED, completed the Transfer of Ownership process, or submitted a Camera Registration Form.

Upgrade Sales Tax
If you take delivery of your upgraded camera in the US, sales tax is applicable in certain states. You will be charged sales tax on the full retail price of the sensor upgrade.
If you take delivery of your upgraded camera in the European Union, Value Added Tax (VAT) may be applied where applicable.
You are responsible for shipping your WEAPON camera BRAIN to RED.
RED recommends that you use a traceable and insurable carrier when shipping to RED.
RED will cover the return shipping back to you after the upgrade is completed.
Once you have been issued a service order number, you can send your camera to any of the worldwide RED facilities.
NOTE: The upgrade is performed exclusively at RED Headquarters in Irvine, CA. If you send your camera to other RED facilities, that will add to the anticipated turnaround time.

NOTE: The turnaround time does not include the transit time to and from the drop-off RED facilities.
