RED Educational Program

The RED® Educational Program offers educational pricing for many products to students, faculty, and schools. 

For students and faculty, RED Educational pricing expires one (1) year from the date of approval. After one (1) year, students and faculty need to submit up-to-date documentation to reestablish eligibility.

RED Educational pricing cannot be retroactively applied to past orders. RED requires full prepayment for all orders via credit card, check, or wire transfer.

Authorized Dealers

RED Educational pricing is offered through RED directly, and through RED's Authorized Dealer network. To find an Authorized Dealer near you, go to Authorized Dealers


Submission Requirements

Students must provide a current, dated class schedule or transcript. Faculty and staff must provide a recent paystub or letter of employment. All documents must contain the applicant’s name and the institution’s official seal or logo.

To start the process, create a RED account or sign in to an existing account, then fill out and submit the Education Program form: Contact RED Sales Team > Education Program


Approval and denial notifications are emailed to applicants within 3 to 5 business days of your application submission. 



RED offers a number of resources to help users get more familiar with RED equipment. Along with the helpful articles and tutorialsREDucation® courses provide students with in-depth, hands-on instruction.


Processing Time

Standard processing is 2 to 3 business days for items that are currently in stock. Certain items may have extended processing times, which are specified on the product pages.
