Purchases

Purchases can be made online at RED.com or by contacting a Sales Representative. Once payment is received and your items become available, RED® processes your order and notifies you of your shipment. If you need to remove an item from your order or modify your order, contact a Sales Representative as soon as possible after placing your order. RED does not guarantee that items can be removed from an order once the order has been placed.

Receive Items

Once payment is received, in-stock items will generally ship within 1-2 business days. Depending on availability, some items may ship same day as ordered.

Items may be subject to extended processing times based on availability. A Sales Representative will inform you of any anticipated delays to the processing of your order. If you have any questions, please contact a Sales Representative.

NOTE: Items ship based upon availability and may ship separately.

NOTE: Same day shipping applies only to orders shipped from RED Headquarters at this time.

Backordered Items

If you order a group of items and some of your items are backordered, you will be charged for shipping for all of the items when the first item on your order ships, regardless of the availability of any other items on your order. If multiple deliveries are required, you will only be charged one shipping and handling charge.

NOTE: Items ship based upon availability and may ship separately.

Queue

If you remove an item from your initial order, your remaining items will continue to hold their place in the queue. If you need to add items, please place a new order and the new items will be time stamped at the time of they are ordered.

A Sales Representative cannot tell you where you are in the queue. They can only provide a rough estimate of when your items might be available based on current delivery information. On occasion, an estimate may not be possible.

Change Payment Method

If you would like to change your method of payment from that initially selected, notify a Sales Representative as soon as possible after placing your order.

Insufficient Funds

If RED does not receive enough funds to cover in-stock items in your order, order processing will not begin. Once sufficient funds are received, your items will process for shipping. For more information, go to Receive Items.

Product Demonstrations

RED currently has offices in North America, Europe, and Asia that are equipped to provide product demonstrations. If there is not a RED facility geographically convenient for you, RED recommends that you contact a local rental house that stocks RED products and ask if they can provide a demo. Alternatively, renting a camera for testing purposes, or even a project, is a great way to familiarize yourself with both the product and its operation.

RED also routinely attends a variety of trade shows and conferences to showcase latest products, such as NAB and IBC. Make sure to check the News section periodically to see when and where RED will be at a show near you. For more in-depth training, RED provides a fully immersive experience through REDucation workshops. Class locations and schedules are listed on the REDucation page.

You can also create an account on REDUSER.net and connect with a local owner. The RED community is active and supportive; most owners are willing to share their experiences with using RED gear.

Quotes

A quote is an automatically generated sales quote that is created by RED.com. Quotes can be saved so that you can view the price for an item or a set of items later.

You can generate multiple quotes. Links to the original product pages on each quote allow you to view more details about each item. Once you are ready to check out, you can easily contact a Sales representative. Each quote is valid for 30 days from the day it was generated.

Manage a Quote

To manage your quotes, click the My Account hyperlink at the top right of RED.com and select Quotes.
