REDundead on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan
RED has updated the REDUndead application to now work with Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
To install build v2.0.1, go to REDUNDEAD (BETA)
Can I use REDUndead on Windows?
No. REDUndead is supported on Mac® OS X® only.
REDundead says DONE! immediately and does not start.
1. Confirm that the command line is entered correctly: redundead /dev/rdisk1
NOTE: Drag and drop your destination folder into the Terminal window to automatically generate the complete folder path.
2. If you are running Mac OS X 10.8.x or later, add “sudo” before the command line: sudo redundead /dev/rdisk1 /User/brad.harris/Desktop/RECOVER. A window prompts you to enter your password. REDundead recovers your R3D® files.
If you still experience issues, please submit a Technical Support request.
For more information, go to the REDundead Operation Guide (BETA).
