REDUNDEAD Operating System Compatibility
REDUNDEAD is available for Windows and Mac OS. RED offers a separate installation package for each system, available here.
REDUNDEAD Says "DONE!" Immediately and Does Not Start
1. Confirm that the command line is entered correctly: redundead /dev/rdisk1
NOTE: Drag and drop your destination folder into the Terminal window to automatically generate the complete folder path.
2. If you are running Mac OS X 10.8.x or later, add “sudo” before the command line: sudo redundead /dev/rdisk1 /User/brad.harris/Desktop/RECOVER. A window prompts you to enter your password. REDundead recovers your R3D® files.
If you still experience issues, please submit a Technical Support request.
